"What can I say...this is The Empress! Beautiful and elegant. Bar is great and so is High Tea. Some issues with water pressure but that is it. Truly a dream come true."

"Great property overall. Cleaning staff had not cleaned the underside of the toilet seat. Sugar bowl was gross. Other than that, lots of thought given to amenities and staff really were trying their best."

"This hostel is truly friendly and has a nice vibe. My only concern was that the facility has no elevator. I suffer from knees problem and it was a challenge for me to go up the stairs to the 4th floor with all my luggage after a long day. Otherwise, it is a great choice and I will be coming back whenever I need a bed to stay in Victoria Downtown."
