« We had a wonderful time being hosted by Shannon at the Heather Cottage. Tucked away in a quiet location right on a wetland, it’s a great escape from the day to day. The cottage is cute and cozy, with everything you need for your getaway. We loved the fresh farm eggs, and the ambience. Wildlife awaits each time you look out towards the wetlands, with a variety of birds as well as an orchestra of frogs come dusk. « Fantastic location with a private beach. We were lucky enough to see Bald Eagle, Orcas, Otters and seals all from a sun lounger! Sea clean and is safe to swim or use the kayaks. Owner is friendly and helpful. Great place to stay! »

« We absolutely loved our stay here, the hosts were so friendly and the guest suite was beautiful. I stayed with my 5 year old son, he was able to meet goats, chickens, ducks and made friends with their dog. He even helped the hosts collect eggs! We had planned to go out an explore the Comox Valley, but my son enjoyed the farm so much we ended up staying there for most of the day. I would highly recommend staying here to any family with young kids or anyone wanting a quiet place to get away »

« Man oh man. If you ever had trouble winding down stay here. The ocean waves at night put you asleep better than a sound tape! This place is exactly as advertised and then some. The atmosphere brought me back to the seventies. »
