Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community

Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community

10/10 Excellent
"There was a marked difference with this stay over our stay last year. The airport transfer has really improved, as has the baggage holding procedures and the text notification process. We are very impressed with the way they addressed these issues. Their staff, as always, is incredibly helpful and polite. The grounds are lovely. And even with the overly loud wedding party and their guests and some really loud and drunk golfers, we were relatively undisturbed during our stay. The room was impeccably clean, the kitchen was relatively well-stocked with equipment, and the view was peaceful, even with the golfers strolling into view from time to time. Crown Isle is removed from most things, so if you didn’t drive and you’re up for a walk, there’s a Costco, a Thrifty Foods, and some small chain restaurants not too far away. If you’re up for a quick cab ride, there are some wonderful restaurants, cafes, and little shops in Comox. Our plan for this past weekend was to rest, relax, visit friends, enjoy some quiet, and do next-to-nothing. Crown Isle allowed us to achieve those goals for a fairly successful three-day weekend in August. And we got to see deer stroll in front of our cabin in the early mornings and evenings, which was wonderful. Definitely recommend."

Rare Gem - 'The Camp House'

10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at the Camp House! The outdoor pool was a huge hit with them odd and we appreciated the games, puzzles and kids book collection. The location at the trail head tk the Community Forest is also a huge perk, when biking with littles who are learning, being proximal is helpful. Other fave aspects - the espresso machine, air conditioning, a very well stocked kitchen and great outdoor seating areas."

Waterfront Getaway while visiting family, near Bike Trails, and Nature Walks.

10/10 Excellent
"A delightful property in a great location! We loved that our small dog was able to wander freely in the large fenced yard and also go for walks with us along the Royston Seaside Trail. The rambling garden is just a joy to be in and the seaside view is beautiful. Also a good firm mattress and excellent cookware, (though we could have used one or two more cereal bowls). It’s also close to the town of Courtenay when you need another bottle of wine…Altogether a wonderful stay. Thanks to Cleo and Kate!"

"This place was better than the description. The views were spectacular and the place was fully stocked. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor eating area with the fireplace and the stand up paddle boards. My daughter had seals swim under her! The place was so nice and peaceful and the host was very helpful. We would highly recommend!"
