"The Location is perfect so you can walk to lots of nice Restaurants. I like the Ladies shopping with all the Boutiques. Like the lobby of the Hotel where you can have free coffee, lattes, etc, cookies and juice etc. out all day. The breakfast was also very good. I especially liked the little Ukrainian gal who was looking after the breakfast area. She was so friendly. We have come once a year in August for 3 years now and there is nothing I don't like. Tks. "The room and view were excellent. You could use a small gift shop for snacks and other items. The pools were beautiful but the smell of chlorine was unbearable. It reeked into the hallways on that floor"

"Our room was a suite (with balcony), and it was the nicest suite I have ever stayed at besides Toledo (Spain) and the most prestigious hotel suite in San Francisco, CA. It was 2.5 blocks easy walk to the Harbor and the Empress where we had high tea reservations. The staff (immigrants from Philippines and Wales) were highly professional, helpful, efficient, and wonderful! The large kitchen was fully equipped, including a washer and dryer (summer amazing), and I was most impressed with the recycling bin with 4 types of recycling options. Hotel also had the first composting bin I have ever seen, which we happily used… Most impressive and environmentally friendly! Only negative was the traffic noise from idiots with loud mufflers: closing windows eliminated the noise. Loved all the window blinds that kept room dark so I could sleep in, after a long days travel. In sum, this was one of the best suites I have ever stayed at. Very highly recommended! "
