"I was looking for a nice place to stay near my daughter in the Hawthorne neighborhood, and Evermore Guesthouse turned out to be the perfect spot. The location made it easy to come and go, my room was peaceful and quiet, and I especially appreciated the 24-hour kitchen stocked with bagels, pastries, cereals, granola bars, hard-boiled eggs, tea, coffee, juice and more. I’ll definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Very nice hotel with decent breakfast. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Location is far from the Pier but in a very beautiful area with parks on the waterfront a short walk away. Staff is extremely welcoming and cordial with plenty of smiles."
"My wife and I stay at the Paramount was excellent. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and had a good view, and there were lots of amenities nearby. The next time we return to Portland, we will definitely stay at the Paramount again."

I really liked the charm of being in an renovated house -- the historic aspect was really nice. I found the slightly creaky floorboards charming and exactly what I wanted. I wanted to feel like I was in a friend's historic home not an overly swanky hotel. It was perfect. Thank you all. I will absolutely be coming back!"
