New Year Family trip
We thoroughly enjoyed the container home. Everything was wonderful. We went to Biltmore one day and skiing at Sugar Mountain the next day. Perfect location. Felt very safe and comfortably. Enjoyed being able to walk next door to Hillmans brewery for delicious food. Thank you for sharing your beautiful/ fun home. We will definitely be back.

Container Stay
Originally, we liked the novelty of staying in a container home; practically, we loved our stay and enjoyed it beyond what we expected. The proximity to local breweries and area attractions was fantastic. My husband and I, along with our kids (and the dog) loved the space, which was bright and clean.

Fantastic little house
This was a great house with surprisingly large, open rooms. Our family had plenty of space and we loved the back patio area, with the large grassy area and creek access. It’s not fenced in but still great for the dogs, if you have dogs that will stay with you without a fence. The kitchen was very well stocked with nice cooking utensils, pots, pans, and mixing bowls. It’s a very unique house with sliding doors instead of windows, the doors let in a lot of natural light. We were visiting family in the area, and it’s a great place to stay for east access to Black Mountain, Asheville, and Boone. We loved it and will probably stay there again!

Cute
It is a cute place in a goof location. My only complaint is the lawn mower Sunday morning. Something I didn't realize in the pictures is the toilets are not only next to the large windows but facing the road. The lawnmowers may have gotten an eye full that he wasn't expecting.

So much fun!
The house was awesome! We had more than enough amenities. This home was stocked with anything you might need. Whether it was toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish detergent, towels and blankets. Thank you for not being stingy with any of these things. We would love to return in the future.

Coolest of cool!!!!
My cousins, a friend (from central NC) and myself (TN) decided to meet half way for girls weekend. We looked at several places near Asheville and Black Mountain but looked no more when we discovered the container house. We are all so happy we did! It is well maintained and stocked with cookware and dishes, towels, has wifi, kids toys and more. Had THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS! AND…THE SHEETS WERE DREAMY! We all wanted to stay in bed longer. Individual patios and the bidet were neat too. You can walk to a restaurant/brewery and you have hiking trails and a grocery store nearby. Very convenient to I-40 and Black Mountain. Lauren was quick to respond to any questions and very pleasant to work with. We all would highly recommend this home to anyone. I ish we could have stayed longer but we look forward to returning some day!

Girls weekend
Everything about this vrbo is worth sharing. A beautiful, clean, fun space not lacking in any thing. The location is awesome too. Old Fort is a cool little town and so close to two other gems…Black Mountain and Montreat. Check-in and Check-out were a breeze. Can’t wait to return!

Best VRBO yet
My wife, adult daughter and I really enjoyed the container house. It was really spacious, was equipped with everything we needed and comfortable. I was expecting something a bit more industrial however the stay was a nicely decorated home. The photos didn’t really give you a good perspective. The house was made up of 4 large containers seamlessly connected in staggered fashion. The living room was plenty large and even had a dining area. A super nice benefit was being able to walk 100 yards to the craft brewery (Hillman Brewing) next door where we popped in for a nice dinner after a long day of driving. Coffee was just as close in the morning at RideHouse. No more Black Mountain Hampton for us when visiting our son and daughter-in-law.

Definitely original
The location was perfect. The home was super clean and spacious. We did have trouble with water the second day because the towns water main had a break in the line. Easy to communicate with the host any concerns. Would definitely return.
