"Lovely accommodation, warm, and well equipped with everything you could possibly wish for. Fantastic views and within walking distance to the beach. We took our two large dogs with us and they had a marvelous time. Section well fenced for our 4 legged friends. Fishing was marvelous and so many places to fish from. Our hostess was brilliant, and made us feel so at ease. We hope to return again. Thank you Annette for sharing your beautiful haven with us. You and your property exceeded our expectations"

"The manager was so wonderful and helpful. I would recommend this motel to any travelers. It was centrally located to most of the sightseeing in the North Island, kiwi house, glow worm caves, geo thermal geysers, botanical gardens, shopping and places to eat. Our bed was very comfortable, the other 2 which the kids used were too soft for them so we took them back to their tiny house. Check in and check out was extremely easy. I give these accommodations a 10 plus."

"Beautiful situation. Everything was easy. Sharing the bathroom was not easy as one of our stay has dementia so sharing is not so easy but in fact even tho there were 4 sets of guests it did not actually pose a problem. Breakfast easy & totally adequate. Good stay. Lovely dog n cat"

"Great spot, very local to all we wanted to do. Homemade bread, bacon & eggs were a enjoyable extra. Only problem was no lighting in the garage and the gas bottle for the bbq was empty, meaning a quick change of dinner plans."
