"The hotel is located right in the middle of the national mall and the boardwalk and metro station is right across the street..It cost me less than five dollars to get from the DCA airport to this hotel."
"Affordable, spacious, clean rooms in a very walkable neighborhood near GWU and State Dept. Walking distance to Kennedy Center, White House, and Georgetown. Liked the suite-style room. Our family of 3 had more than enough room. "
"This was my fourth stay at the hotel Washington. I enjoy the location as it’s very convenient to the business district in Washington as well as great restaurants. The Vue rooftop bar is spectacular, but you need to get up there early in order to grab a seat at the bar as it fills up quite quickly after 4 o’clock I had a room on the eighth floor with a view of the mall and the White House the room was incredibly clean well appointed although the coffee maker did not work, but the hotel gave me a $15 credit for the restaurant downstairs, which more than made up for the inconvenience of not having a working coffee maker. The only point I would raise is that the shower uses large format marble tiling and is incredibly slippery. I nearly fell twice. I think they should provide a rubber mat. Other than that this is a spectacular hotel that always gets my highest recommendation for a stay in Washington DC."
"The staff are excellent. Personable, helpful and kind. From Josephine who checked us in at the front desk to our valet who helped us depart, all showed a professionalism that Omni has had since we first stayed here over 15 years ago.
The pool is delightful, with food and beverage and very clean bathroom shower facilities "
