"Gem of a property in this little town. Lovely layout. Clean and comfortable rooms… before I arrived I felt it was a bit pricey for the area, however, it’s an excellent hotel with a great restaurant. "

"The Tiny House suite more than met our expectations. It was very tasteful and of high quality, as well as of a comfortable size. Our host was very helpful and checked to see we had everything we needed. The small deck would be ideal for enjoying the view during a warmer time of the year."

"Beautiful scenery , view spectacular . Units very clean ,and comfortable , kitchen well stocked for any meal . All one needs to bring is food, clothing, and a car . Many services nearby, but not within walking distance. Great scenic drives, restaurants, hiking trails, beaches , and wildlife. "

"We had a great stay at this property. The house was well equipped and exactly as described. The kids loved looking for shells when the tide was out and using the provided crab pots. Our fishing charter was able to pick us up right from the dock too! Found lots of great hikes just a short drive away. A great home base for exploring the west side of the island!"

"Our breath was literally taken away each day by the exquisite design, privacy and comforts of this amazing property coupled with the unparalleled, truly stunning views of the beautiful deep blue ocean and the gorgeous snow-capped Olympic Mountain range. Relaxing on the deck was the high point of each day as we were very fortunate to have such beautiful weather. Our visit went by extremely fast and of course we certainly wanted to stay longer! Hosts Loretta and Jeff thought of every detail in designing this property and providing all of the comforts of home. They were always incredibly attentive and so very kind! We very much enjoyed staying at this fresh, extremely clean, brand new property with its sleek modern design and we look forward to returning again! We also enjoyed eating at several great restaurants in the area, going out on many lovely hikes, seeing wildlife, bike riding on the trail as well as visiting Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo, Salt Spring Island and of course, Victoria! Afternoon tea at Butchart Gardens is always amazing as well as the gardens, of course! This is the perfect getaway location for a fun and very relaxing vacation! "Everything was very clean. The home is aged but a great clean space to spend a week watching sunsets over the ocean. Seals and otters on the dock in the morning, fishing we caught nothing but seaweed, caught crabs, and all appliances, laundry, bbq worked and well stocked for family meals of 8. Definitely recommended if you don't mind the winding road in and steep driveway. The property is in a cell phone roaming location though, but wifi works great."

"Wow! Beautiful home in a gorgeous location. The house was very clean, super spacious, and had everything we needed, and more (the fluffy bathrobes were the cherry on top!) We (4 sisters) stayed for one week and occupied the middle and lower levels of the home. They were equal in every way with the same stunning views of Sooke basin. The third floor suite above us was on the noisy side with foot traffic overhead and a balcony directly above ours, which did detract from the feeling of privacy during our stay. However, I would stay here again in a heartbeat if we had the entire home to ourselves, thats just my personal preference."
