"We stayed at the Shangri-La Far Eastern, Taipei in a Grand Deluxe Family Room for seven nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with plenty of space for three friends traveling together. The beds were cozy, and there was ample room for luggage, making it ideal for a longer stay. Everything was clean and relaxing, though the room could use a bit more lighting. The staff were warm and professional. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they even helped celebrate a birthday with a special treat, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of local Taiwanese dishes, a noodle bar, Indian and Asian options, and Western selections — all delicious and beautifully presented. The room was also well stocked with bottled water and Nespresso coffee, which we appreciated. The rooftop pool and hot tub offered incredible city views, and the hotel is connected to a shopping mall, with the Marco Polo Lounge being a great spot for drinks.
