The hotel is located near a very busy intersection, but I heard very little noise from inside the room. Although we enjoy walking this hotel was not close to areas of interest and the closest good coffee cafe was 20 mins walk away. The place itself was lovely and cleaning staff were especially warm and caring when we encountered them. Every member of the staff is excellent, especially the gym/pool/sauna team and the housekeeping team. They made some nice quality of life changes since my last stay, including a self-service locker system for luggage and a laundry room on the second floor. These small changes have improved efficiency. I also appreciate that they have staff that open the front door for you and help you load your luggage into taxis/Ubers. I hope they do not cut that service. One thing I wish they still had were free amenities on the first floor like shaving cream, toothbrushes, razors, etc. like Japanese hotels. Those are very helpful in the event that you forget something. Thank you Miramar Garden Taipei team.
