A lovely property and really quirky. I stayed for one night and found it to be very welcoming. The breakfast was great and they had a veggie option. Stayed in room 2 that had a private bathroom outside the room but it was very well equipped and is only for the room, robes are provided and it’s close to the room so wasn’t a problem for me at all. Thank for a lovely stay.

The owners were very polite, and breakfast was prompty. If you wanted anything, all you had to do was ask. The dislike was the stairs, but that was miner.

This was located perfectly for our 3-night stay visiting York. It was a 15 minute walk from the train station and 4 blocks from Old City Centre. It’s an older bed-and-breakfast style place that we found quaint. We had a nice-sized room with a comfy bed; dresser, armoire, luggage rack, and a sink in the room; our private full bath was across the hall. We were provided with nice dressing gowns to use if we desired. You needed to choose a breakfast timeslot for your stay and select your food; it was decent and ample. We were very grateful to have our room ready early as we had requested, and the owners stored our luggage until late afternoon in our last day. The owners were very accommodating. If we weren’t enjoying medieval York, we wandered the pretty neighborhoods around the B&B. Would stay there again.

This property is very good and very worth of money. The location of this place located near the city centre and walkable to the attractions. Staff is also friendly and their breakfast is good. Very recommend this place.

Property is in easy access of the centre of York and the station. Ample parking on nearby road. The staff are friendly and helful. The breakfast menu has a large choice. The cooked breakfast is great. I was in a room on the top floor which has sloping roof which maybe difficult for a tall person. No lift. Decor is lookingba little tired. They do not have a comfy area to sit in. It was just right for a short break.

I was in York for my Granddaughter’s wedding & stayed at this B&B for one night only but the accommodation was clean, breakfast was good & Jason the owner was very helpful & obliging with parking. The only negative was the shower, which was scolding hot one minute & freezing cold the next.
