Great night in this hotel once again. Nice room, lovely staff. Clean tidy. Shower dropped all night so could do with some maintenance.only other thing hotel advertises slippers and bath robe in room. Second time we have stayed and they haven't been in room. If you ring reception they will provide but appears to be a laundry cost saver on the robes. Other than those two points we love staying here. Thank you to the staff.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were accommodating with everything we needed. Parking was easy at the hotel. Wish we had more time at this hotel. Only downside was that the fitness and pool facilities were shared with other users which meant it was always busy.

The location was very good, right across the street from the train station. We were not happy about our room. While it was a good size and the bathroom was very good, our room (# 5) was located in the basement next door to a staff supplies room so we heard the staff at 11pm and 4am. Also when our room was made up our 4th pillow was removed. We asked to have it and our empty tissue box replaced but that wasn’t done.

The location was perfect for my trip. I arrived and left York by train, access to the hotel is practically directly from the station! My room had a view of the city wall, this was most unexpected. A short walk brought me into York, I was able to visit York Minster, The Shambles and Jorvik. I stayed two nights, excellent breakfast was included.
