Our flat is located in the centre of York so everything within the city centre will be in walking distance to you. If you are in need of public transport during your stay, York Train Station is a 26 minute walk/ 16 minute drive away. ➞ As standard we provide the following during your stay - Individually wrapped Tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, and sauces to get you under way for your stay. ➞ Single-use individually wrapped shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. ➞ Check in time is 16:00pm and check out time is 11:00am. ➞ Please note that parties and loud music are not permitted in this property. It is in a very peaceful residential area. ➞ Any disturbances caused will result in a £250 penalty fee. ➞ A replacement fee of £100 will be charged for any lost keys. ➞ Furnished Accommodation provide a hotel standard of service in all of our properties. ➞ We're like a hotel without staff. The property is professionally maintained and cleaned immediately after every guest checks out. ➞ Please note that we require all our guests to provide names of all guests staying and lead guest ID prior to check in which will be requested through a secure link via the Airbnb messaging service. The postcode given took us down roads with bollards so we couldn’t get to the parking. We tried 4 different ways in and eventually found it. On arrival, it was an extremely cold day. The heating clearly hadn’t been switched on in advance of our arrival. It was so cold (7oc! On arrival) and there were no obvious instructions on how to use the heating system. On messaging the host, he did send a video but this was not particularly helpful as we’d already tried most of these things. The first night, we spent under the duvet in the lounge until the place warmed up. One of the heaters in the master bedroom with en-suite was faulty and would not stay on. We had to keep the doors open everywhere to try and get the heat through the apartment. In addition, with terrible signal, there were no WiFi details available. After a considerable amount of time spent trying to get signal to message the host, we did also receive a video with the WiFi details. Once the first 12 hours had passed, the apartment was warm and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was clean and fairly well equipped. This place is in a wonderful location, within 5 mins walk of the town centre and has all the makings for a fantastic stay.
