Hotel met my family's needs just fine. There's a grocery store right across the street, memorials and museums are walkable, IF you don’t mind walking. Would stay here again

First, upon our arrival, we realized that there was absolutely nowhere to park our vehicle while we check-in. We literally had no choice but to stop in the middle of the street as other traffic was forced to maneuver around our car. We weren't even able to pull in to the hotel's parking garage as it was completely full. There was no valet parking as was advertised on the website, at least when we were there.There was only one employee of the hotel that was outside to "help" guests that were pulling up to check in, however, he wasn't very eager to help, as we didn't even realize he worked there until I had to run inside to ask the front desk about where to park. This gentleman apparently decided that the two minutes that I was gone (out of the 15 minutes we were right there, clearly trying to figure out what to do) would be the perfect time to walk over to my car, OPEN the passenger side door without knocking or announcing his presence at all, and scream at my teenage daughter about leaving our vehicle there. My daughter and two other kids were terrified! Also, it was VERY clear that I was looking for someone to help me for all of that time, yet he didn't acknowledge our existence for all that time! Definitely not a great start! Most of the other staff members we spoke with were very friendly. The rooms definitely need updating, especially the TV's, which were not smart TVs and had maybe 20 cable channels at most. The kitchen was also in desperate need of basic essentials.

The staff was very attentive. The hotel is a great location. The two initial rooms window view were an alley with trashed piled up and the back of apartments. Thankfully, we were moved to better rooms with city view the next day. The view is unacceptable for the price of rooms. Check in was at 3pm, but we did not get chrcked in until after 4pm due to the hitel did not have linen. We did not receive additional linien until the next day. The sleeper sofa was broken and almost folded my nephew up in the bed. The staff was very accommodating, but the Director of Operations was on site and when inform of the issues, he was unconcerned and condescending. Special thank you to Antonece, Angela, Diamond and the maintenance staff.

This hotel is terrible. I've never had such a bad experience. The staff was very rude and unsupportive, there were no services available, and the room was dirty. It's hard to express just how bad my experience was staying in this hotel.
