We were fine with it as it was clear in suite info that property had some maintenance issues. Only part that wasn’t acceptable was water and molds seeping up from tiles in bathroom. "We really enjoyed the central location and the opportunity to stay in such a charming canal house. The house was spacious and well equipped, and the hosts were very helpful. The stairs weren’t an issue for us but anyone with mobility issues might find the flights of stairs challenging. There were no negatives - we were just surprised that there was no shower gel and a few drops of hand soap left in the dispenser on arrival. We ended up having to buy our own and leaving it for the next person....

"My teenage daughter and I loved our stay here. We enjoyed escaping to the quaintness and relative quietness of north Amsterdam and this clean, cozy, apartment after busy days exploring Amsterdam and other nearby towns. It was easy to get to Centraal station via a short walk (15 min) and one stop on metro. The owners were kind and quick to respond and answer questions. I would highly recommend!"

"We used this a our main base for touring the Netherlands. It was near Amsterdam, slept 7 easily, roomy enough for us all. It was tough to speak with anyone with the accomodation before we got there as to how each room was stocked. Lots of dishes and cutlery. Nice and close to Volendam to walk into town and stroll. "The hotel and facilities was excellent. The staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and our evening meal was delicious. The room and the views exceeded our expectations. Using the hotel bikes to get around was great fun and quicker than walking. The area around the hotel was quiet and felt safe.
