Firstly, I would definitely stay here again but there was aspects of the stay that let it down terribly all relating to service. The concierge was terrible. Only had rehearsed information to give and provided no real service. I would expect that they should be able to book a restaurant for you and organise a private transfer. I expect them to book or offer you excursions. The service in the Executive Lounge was lack luster. I expect that if a product runs out that it is replaced and never to be advised by the staff that it had run out. Also the Executive Lounge needs to be more regularly sprayed for mosquitoes as it was a mecca for them and where we were regularly bitten. Our check-in experience wasn't the best. Room directions were confusing and we didn't get the room we thought we had booked. No bath and no view but this fault lies with Expedia not the hotel. No service in any bar after 12:00. As a resident I expect bar service 24 hours. Likewise, after 12:00 it was hard to get reception service. My pet hate is that if you are entitled to things with your booking then shouldn't have to ask for them. We had no gowns or slippers in our room.
