"I was very pleasantly surprised Updated room channeling Marriott looks. Had everything we needed. Yes it has hot water be patient, took a minute to warm up. It was quiet and comfortable, staff pleasant, I liked everything about the motel."

"The property is very run down and you can tell the locals use ir as a party or long term stay location. Terrible water pressure and water wouldn't stay hot. Beds were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Would never stay here again. We booked this as a rest/recover spot after exploring Joshua Tree and was so very disappointed that we couldn't get the rest we needed to enjoy our trip."

"Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids ages 7 and 9) had a fabulous long weekend at Dale's place! We saw tons of animals right on the property: chuckwallas, fence lizards, a rosy boa, roadrunners, and a quail mom with eight tiny chicks! The location is breathtaking, set right up against a private set of boulders with views out over the desert. Our kids had the best time scrambling on the rocks in the back valley right behind the house each day, and the stars from the hot tub were spectacular. The pictures don't do it justice--thanks so much for sharing this special place!"

"The staff was helpful, the room was clean, water was hot in the morning, all these are good things. However we arrived late from travel for a Sunday at check in about 4 PM and the in house restaurant apparently is closed on Sunday's and Mondays, so we were out of luck with that regard. Initially told that the next door property had a coffee shop but it was closed also. We didn't use pool or hot tub only because we were passing through, however it looked clean and in good shape. The bed was OK, the AC slightly noisy, so we turned it off. Overall Better than some, not as Good as others, but considering the price we're giving others the choice to decide on their own. Parking and security was Good and FREE."
