STARLIGHT RETREAT is a LOFT style home that is nestled at the end of a peaceful gravel road, offering a serene and secluded getaway just moments from South Chesterman Beach. This charming loft house incorporates the essence of Tofino, with its rustic wood beams, open concept design, and eclectic artwork adorning the walls. Upon entering the vacation rental, you'll immediately be enveloped in a nostalgic retro ambiance. The main living area provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with windows that showcase the surrounding trees, a crackling wood fireplace to warm you and an abundance of natural light that fills the room. The master room loft space boasts a comfortable king-sized bed, projector onto the ceiling for comfy movie nights in bed, a generous open space with a private bathroom, ample closet space, and an adjoining room with a work desk and purple chair that folds down into a mattress perfect for kids. In addition, a few yoga mats and a desk provide extra space for enjoying the morning light, engaging in some rejuvenating stretching, meditating, or dedicating time to work in the loft office. The second room, which has been converted from a work space, offers a Queen bed and is situated at the front of the house. This room is perfect for children or additional guests, providing privacy with the use of curtains and an open ceiling (no door). Please note: 4 guest max. but can allow a 5th child. Please note: young children should be monitored in the upstairs office loft space. Host Rules: Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation. Age min: must be 23 years or older to book. Max Occupancy: 5 guests total including babies and infants. During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you receive a "host unavailable" message despite seeing availability, please contact us. Our booking system has specific rules and may require manual adjustments. 3 Night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays. Pet friendly: up to two dogs allowed and must be owner approved. Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws. Everything was just as described. The space was quiet and private, and everything we needed for light cooking, making coffee in the morning, etc. Great location - it's about a 10 minute walk to Chesterman Beach, and Tofino and other beaches are a short drive away. It was the most well stocked vacation rental we've ever stayed in. From the natural dish soap and the aromatherapy soaps & shampoos in the bathroom we felt the luxury. We walked to the beach every morning. It was so quiet our doggo was so happy & comfortable. We were impressed with how clean the space was considering it is pet friendly. Our stay at this stunning two-bedroom, two-bath vacation rental in Tofino was nothing short of incredible. The architecture and artistic design of the home were breathtaking, and every detail of the decor was thoughtfully curated. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub and were delighted by the espresso machine, which was such a thoughtful touch. The upstairs bedroom with the projector was a unique and cozy addition that made our evenings extra special. Being so close to Chesterman Beach was a dream, allowing us to enjoy the natural beauty of Tofino with ease. To top it all off, having a little Christmas tree to celebrate the New Year made the experience feel magical and personal. Exactly as described. We had friends camping at surf’s grove so a short distance away. Plenty of towels and they left us some little goodies. Super thoughtful. We will stay again.
