The hotel DID NOT match what was represented on the website. I wished I had checked the reviews before booking. The room was ok, tv worked in the room however it was grainy and the aspect ratio was off (couldn't fix it) and the rest of the hotel/pool area are outdated and run down. Around 2am we were woken up to the sound of someone screaming in the hallway and then they were moved outside. The screaming continued outside until Thunderbay Police were called. After an hour, the person was taken away by ambulance. We promptly left the hotel around 6:15am and didn't bother to stay for breakfast. Would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Advertised facilities were not provided by the motel. We have been given some maintenance reasons and room unavailability reasons for those. Didn't even provide any compensation for that. We would like partial refunds for those.

Start off by saying the staff is amazing. Check in to breakfast. They were absolutely great. The room is very old. The bed was not too bad pillows. They could use some updating for a non-smoking hotel very strong, cigarette smell and pots smell on the second floor, loud ignorant people and I don’t think that they were travellers in the hallway well after midnight for 2024 the TV is very small, and the cable is extremely poor. Tried to watch a hockey game could not follow the puck and trouble. Seeing the score. Most hotels nowadays have upgraded televisions and much better reception also no Internet in the rooms they were having “ Issues” With Internet. Overall, I would pass on this hotel.

The room wasn’t the cleanest (dirt on walls, desk wasn’t wiped down completely, bathroom could have been cleaner). And the AC/heat unit was behind the desk so not easily accessible. Definitely got what I paid for.

We’ve been staying here on a regular basis. We find the staff so kind and accommodating. Nadia and Efran especially. It’s affordable and so clean and comfy! The complimentary breakfast is delicious and healthy. I recommend staying here. The location is great as well.

Excellent support and friendly greeting by check-in staff with special little treat for our pets. Room was quite large and clean, but the public areas are rather worn and need repair / refresh. WiFi would not connect, Breakfast was OK though a bit limited.

This location definitely shows it's age. You can tell it's built in the 70s, last renovated in the 80s, still has scent of cigarettes from the 90s and pot of the 2000s. Was a decent sleep. Breakfast was ok, had aging equipment that wasn't working properly for the juice machine and pancake maker. If you are looking at a quick stop for an evening it isn't bad. Wouldn't recommend for a longer stay.

This hotel is awful. It is horribly outdated, the wifi doesn’t work, the side entrance doesn’t work, the rooms have not been updated since Diefenbaker was Prime Miinister, and the front desk clerk, although pleasant, did not understand English very well and couldn’t help us with any of our issues. Please do yourself a favour and steer clear of this dump.

The curtains were covered in so much dust I was afraid to touch them. The sheer curtain was ripped. The bathroom tiles were all chipped and cracked. Wouldn’t recommend ☹️

I was very disappointed in this facility. It needs a major renovation. The mattress is dirty. The bedsheets and pillows are clean. The bedskirt around the box spring was dirty and ripped. The bathroom is clean. I slept on top if the covers with my clothes on. Sorry for the bad review.

The first room we were given had bugs. The lady at the first desk was very apologetic. She promised us a more recently renovated room, which it wasn't. But there were no bugs and it was a bit cleaner. We only stayed the night because we got in late we were tired and didn't want to look for another hotel at that time of night. We had to sleep with our window open because the smell of the old build was giving me a headache. We could hear people , which sounded like they were in the hallway, having sex.
