Beautiful spot and delicious meals. Check in was easy and very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Can’t wait to go back.

The place is usually very quiet , but there were folks who love AC/DC in the room next to ours. We chose the Inn because of the heated pool, but could not use it, as it was only about 70 degrees F or 20 degrees C. The ice machine also did not work, and we had to run to another building to get ice. The service was excellent, however, as the staff provided us with a few essential things, such as hand towels for the very small kitchenette. (BTW, there was no microwave there, curiously.) The trails there were wonderful, and the room was large and comfortable.

Staff was amazing. The room was lovely. We had beautiful view of the River from our room. We also had Sunday brunch. It was delicious. I will definitely return. We loved absolutely everything about our winter visit.

I’ve always heard This was the place to stay! I booked my cousins 40th birthday for the weekend. 1. NEVER book through Expedia for this location. I have never ever been treated so poorly because I didn’t book through the hotel! I’d ask a question prior to arrival and I’d get and email back from front desk saying “ask Expedia!”. The fact I didn’t book through them really angered the front desk staff and haunted us the entire trip! The grounds are great! The rooms are terrible. They are not being upkept. There is charm and the there is just disrepair! Broken cabinets, moldy A/C units, cob webs, dust and MUST. Scary if you are alone! It’s not just pioneer village it’s very medieval times. STAIRS- major steep stairs and the pool is on an entirely different plot of land-most drive! THE FOOD SAVED THIS TRIP!! I will go back just for the food. It was above and beyond amazing. The steak was as soft as the mashed potatoes. The breakfast incredible and the brunch OMG!! The turkey was awesome! - we nearly didn’t make the brunch as front desk fought us that it was booked up! We were there the entire weekend and told we could reserve Saturday for Sunday. She finally gives us a time and to confirm our Expedia discrimination- not booked up. In fact, if I owned this property I would be making Destiny the restaurant manager the entire property manager. She was incredible. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She needs to be promoted immediately in our opinion.
