If you don't want the daily hassle of driving back and forth to a resort, and you only have 3-5 days, staying right on the mountain at Sunshine Mountain Lodge, is a great option.

It is truly one of the most fabulous mountain ranges in the Canadian Rockies and it is very special to stay up on the hill and step into your skis when stepping outside the lodge each morning.

an overall wonderful experience from the skiing to the hotel. At first we thought it was weird being trapped on the middle of a mountain but the atmosphere was fantastic.
