Loved the cleanliness and having the laundry machines was super convenient. Just remember to bring your own lotion as they don't provide any. Location is wonderful and the parking lot gets a bit tight in the mornings due to the bagel shop next door. Courteous service as well.
Overall the experience at the cabin was good, unfortunately a couple of things prevent me to give a 5 star review: the mattress was uncomfortable to sleep in (too soft for our liking) and the shower creating a pond of water after using it. Other than that, the cabin had all the amenities to have a good experience
First time staying here! Loved how conveniently located it was right off the highway but off the Main Street of Canmore. I had a micro suite and it was perfect. Had a full kitchen, washer/dryer, centralized heating so I could adjust to my liking. Liked the key code entry and not having to worry about a room key. I had to call the front desk twice and someone picked up right away and was very helpful. I would highly recommend. I’m already planning my next trip to Banff and will stay here again!
Like how central it was, very near the train but it didn’t disturb us. Rooms are clean and simple- right next to a great bagel place - perfect breakfast option! Upstairs hot tub under the stars was a nice touch. This is a simpler style accommodation but affordable and perfect for walking out into the town to enjoy.
Basecamp Resorts was exactly what we needed for our week trip in Canmore. The location was great, too. We were able to walk to all the restaurants we wanted to for breakfast and dinner. The staff was super accommodating. It was easy to snag some extra towels and tide pods from the front desk. The hot tub was an added bonus too. The only thing I wish we had was a better view of the Three Sisters from our room but all in all it was an amazing stay. We’re so thankful and would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay. The unit was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything was organized and exactly as described, which made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We appreciated the attention to detail and would gladly stay here again.
Room was good, air conditioning was non existent. There was an old portable air conditioner in the bedroom that blew warm air, not to mention the a/c was so noisy. So between the heat and noise we could not sleep.

The property is getting run down, fast. It is cheap in comparison to other similar properties so I can accept it.
We stayed during some nice weather in April and the unit was unbearable upstairs with no AC. I’ve always stayed here in the winter so it was never an issue.
The property is priced correctly for what it is. It’s great for winter stays but I wouldn’t stay in the summer.
The staff was great and really helpful.
The room was clean and well stocked. Had everything you would need. Front desk staff were very good if you needed anything like extra towels. Nice common area to hang out in and hot tub had a great view from the rooftop. Definitely will choose to stay here whenever in Canmore!
Our Second stay at Basecamp. This time we were a group of 9 on motorcycles. The staff accommodated an extra parking stall for all of our motorcycles. The rooms were clean, quiet, and spacious enough for all of us to gather and socialize. Walkable to restaurants, pubs, and stores. I did wish the hot tub was open just an hour later! 10pm is early when you’re out for dinner and want to have a soak before bed! Will stay agin 100%
This was a great place to stay for 3 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen was so well stocked with high quality items. Nice little touches....lamps on when we arrived in the bedrooms, towels on the beds. Staff was friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

Good location and everything we needed for a reasonable price.
We had a wonderful stay at Basecamp Resort! The property was clean, modern, and very well maintained. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
The location was perfect, offering beautiful mountain views and easy access to nearby attractions. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the resort. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly felt at home during our stay.
We would highly recommend Basecamp Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience. We look forward to staying here again in the future!
Overall, great value. Views from the room were great, plenty of space, and was mostly clean. There was a gigantic hair ball on the side table, but besides that it was great. Had all the amenities we needed + the hot tub, which we utilized.
