The wood fireplace with access to wood was lovely. Of course, and most importantly, we cooked! Full kitchen = great and healthy food. I would always come back here. My son also enjoyed the water slides more than I expected. Also, we we’re really looking forward for the waterpark but their hours is not reasonable. They closed at 9pm so if you’re still roaming around the town you won’t be able to go to the pool at night and in the next day they open super late like 2:30pm. My kids super love it. The room is clean and we had a veranda with a nice view of the mountain. We got to enjoy the indoor and outdoor pool, the amazing playground and the underground parking lot. The hotel is very close to downtown which we enjoy night stroll and eating on different food places. The staff are amazing too. The hotel itself is quite dated and not kept up very well. There was a water leak in the hallway and the ceiling was damaged. Large part of the floor was wet. Our young kids all got a chemical burn after spending a few hours in the pool. Not a great overall experience. It was fairly cheap for banff.
