This unique listing is for two halves of a duplex in Seaside, where guests will enjoy a wonderful dog-friendly, spacious home. With plenty of entertainment options, a fantastic location a few blocks from the beach, and a private hot tub, everyone will love it here.

Located toward the south side of town, this home is within a short, five-minute walk of easy beach access, the playground and boat launch at Cartwright Park, and even the Seaside Golf Course! The downtown area is about a mile north, and there you will find all sorts of wonderful restaurants, charming souvenir shops, the Seaside Aquarium, and access to the gorgeous beach. In Seaside itself there is plenty to keep you busy, though you could also take a quick 15-minute drive south to Cannon Beach, or a scenic 30-minute drive north to Astoria.

Featuring both halves of a comfortable duplex, you'll have five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and space for 12 guests and three dogs (though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply). Both sections of this home are self-contained and feature their own living room with gas fireplace and TV, plus a full kitchen, dining room, and a laundry area. Throughout this home, entertainment options include cable television, DVD/VCR players with a selection of movies, board games, and WiFi access.

Outside, these units boast a backyard area, and one of them even has a private hot tub! You will love soaking in this gloriously warm hot tub and letting all your stresses melt away. Because this home has two smaller, self-contained spaces, this is a fantastic way to travel with another family or an extended family and enjoy added privacy. Just imagine: everyone can enjoy a home-cooked breakfast together in the morning, head out for a walk on the beach or a day in town, return home for a soak in the hot tub or a movie night, then retire to your own private rooms to rest up for tomorrow's adventures!

With plenty of space for a large group, this is a great place to plan a beach getaway. If the weather's nice, you can easily take advantage of the sunshine and walk around town, though you could also set out in a car to explore every charming corner of Seaside and the gorgeous coastline beyond!

Come stay at this home and enjoy its private hot tub, separate living areas, and spacious interior that will ensure you have an amazing visit!

Duplex was nice
Our stay was nice. In 1615 the hot water heater is leaking and toilet in the front bathroom needs attention. It needs new parts for the tank. The fault sometimes would not work.

Disliked: Cleanliness
This property was the worst. Should never been rented out.
Horrible, horrible, filthy. Appliances didn't work. Dish washer flooded kitchen and living room. Black mold and hair bubbled up through the bathroom drain. Dishes chipped and eggs left in pan, and pasta and boiled water left in pans under sink. There vacation permits should be revoked

Disappointed in vacasa
Most major appliances nonfunctioning. Garbage overflowing at start of stay, only removed a couple bags off the top, so gross for whole stay. Other garbage bags tucked under back stairs. No dishwasher, water filter broken, broken microwave, fridge went out midway through stay. Sent people out to look but unable to fix. No response to request for partial refund, will pursue with credit card company.

Not too shabby
For our family trip, we rented out both sides of the duplex to accommodate our entire party. The pros of this place is the LOCATION, living space, and the kitchenware. The left unit was where everyone gathered mostly, since it seemed more spacious, clean, and bright. The right unit was a lot more dark and dingy, and the furniture and rooms need some renovating. With only a 5 min walk to the beach and a 10-15 min walk to the promenade our family had a great time hanging out at the beach and exploring the unique shops of Seaside!

Soccer in the Sand Weekend
It was a good stay and fit our big group. Missing a few essential items or items not working, like toaster, no cooking utensils for the BBQ grill, and fire pit was not really a fire pit. One of our girls may have gotten bed bugs on the 2 bedroom unit w/ the bunk bed in it? Overall, I would rent again.

Ok place, kind of beat up
Microwave didn’t heat food, frying pan was old and pealing, sliding door curtains fell down while we were there, they were not adequately secured to wall. Floors are not in good condition. The master bedroom bed is not comfortable. The place needs some maintenance and upgrading. It is dog friendly , but Would not book it again.

Great property, close to the boardwalk
We enjoyed staying at this property. Hot tub functioned great. The location is great as well. I did not give a 5th star due to the following small issues- The house did not have any beach chairs as you would expect from a beach house. Also, the soaking tub in the master bedroom did not function properly. We were unable to close the drain, so water drained, unless you pushed down hard with your hand. The water also became cold about 1/3rd of the way full. So although the soaking tub is very appealing, it was not something we were able to enjoy. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

Hmmmmmmmm....
We had a great vacation in spite of our lodgings not because of them. This place for two nights would have been reasonable if not for the state of the place. Mold in bathrooms. Big rust spot (12" x 2") on front of fridge. Stained carpet that eminated a bad odor. The hot water heater was not adequate to fill the bathrooms oversized tub, rendering it useless. Electricity kept going out due to over taxed breaker box. Hot tub water sickly dirty and smelled wrong. It was simply unsafe to use and this was a selling feature of the property. We would have been happy with something clean and maintained, but this place was well behind on standard maintenance.
