"The location is great and the living room is quite cosy. However, the general condition is quite shabby and could use some maintenance, the shower pressure was very low. Also, the advertised 'free pick-up' is not included, they use COVID as a reason when asked, but I think they should update the listing to reflect that because honestly it was a selling point for us. "The hotel is situated in the beautiful Alfama district. Some might say it’s far away, but the hotel is connected to the train and metro station so it’s easy to get to where you need without climbing a million stairs. The hotel is also very sound proof considering we are just above the railway! We also couldn’t hear any other guests from inside our room which is rare. Great a/c and lovely bed linens made for restful sleeps. Would book again on our next visit to Lisbon."

"Air conditioning is really good. Good communication and fast reply. You get the password for the door on the day you arrive. Room and kitchen are clean except shower old black mold inside the shower. Best location for the tram 28 photos. Right next to the Cafe with yellow table and chairs. Lots of people took photos there. We were too late to book time slot for the table. Lots of cafe and restaurants nearby Not suitable for elderly to stay there because the steep hill, lots of stairs, steps, cobbled street. If you suffer with hip,back, knee pain and definite need to think twice or use Uber. They will stop right in front of the green gate. But the old town city is so beautiful and historic area, Lots of good viewing points to view the city. We both really enjoy it. 8 minutes walk to outdoor market. Open Tuesday and Saturday. Is a bit strange to ask cash only for the local tax and leave it on the table when you leave. I asked for receipt but they asked me to contact hotel.com."

"To say to that Casa Dell’Arte is charming is an understatement. It is a unique, extraordinary experience that combines a stunning aesthetic, specious rooms, central location, and excellent staff. Clara made us an excellent breakfast each morning in what felt like a private dining room. The building is centuries old, so of course, there a few eccentricities, but overall it is very comfortable and convenient. Highly recommend!"
