Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast. There is no parking on site and the parking under the plaza is very expensive. It is best to park at Estacionamento Chão do Loureiro, a short walk from the hotel (use Google maps to find it). Nice garage on several levels but takes only cash in coins and 5, 10 or 20 euro notes.

We enjoyed our stay. Simple, clean, affordable, safe - and with a great view of Rossio Square. Metro was a 1 minute walk away. Trams and buses were easy to catch but it was also ver walkable. We could walk to the heart of Alfama in 15 minutes listening to fado or walk 15 minutes the other direction for breathtaking views in bairro alto. I happily recommend this place and would stay again

We stayed here for our last night in Portugal to be closer to the airport (20 mins) while being in a desirable area. Checkin/out process was easy. Room 303 on 3rd floor with private washroom and windows looking over the square. Comfortable bed, good room size, the shower is small (one of the smaller sizes I’ve seen in Europe) I stayed while pregnant and had some difficulty moving around however my husband was fine. Clean accommodations with in room AC. Our room was directly in front of the main doorway that all 3rd floor guests use to access their rooms. If we were staying more then 1 night we would have requested to move as this was a little noisy. But with ear plugs and for one night it was okay. Be prepared to walk a few flights of stairs to the reception area and to rooms. Fresh continental buffet breakfast - (breads, crossiants, coffee, juices, cereal, yogurt, granola, fruit, meat).

The only thing we didnt like was not having an elevator which was hard on my friend who has a bad knee but otherwise the staff was great, room was a good size and clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was average but acceptable. Love the location super convenient for everything but it can get loud at night since its near a square.

Wish they would give out two or more sets of keys, and the front door was controlled by a customer key or some sort. Only had to use the door after hours when it was closed, and it was quick and easy to get open, but I'm just being very picky at this point.

The location is convenient. The place is very clean. The place has no elevator, so it was hard climbing up the stairs with all or luggage. The location's sugn is not easily visible.
