Private driveway, beautiful garden beds, and fenced front and back yards. Enjoy a beautiful quiet backyard with an expansive deck, chairs, umbrella, BBQ, and a lawn for kids and dogs. A great vacation home for families, couples and business travelers.
Ocean Beach is a very exciting beach town, with beach crowds, traffic and overhead planes. This vacation rental is just far enough down the street from the beach to avoid the mayhem, but still close enough to walk. Great place!

I stayed here with my small dog and it was so great for him! Very safe fenced yard and close to everything. The host was great at communication and there were so many nice touches in the home. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay

The property was clean and stock well and thoughtfully. They even had napkins and a filter water pitcher for us! They had kids toys and a beautiful yard. Everything was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

Great stay in OB

We loved this stay. The location is so great and parking was easy. The neighborhood is chill and quiet. The backyard is perfect for dogs and enjoying some sunshine. Internet was fast. The place had everything we needed to feel comfortable for a week.

Family vacation

Excellent location, less than a mile from ocean beach. Appreciated the fenced in yard both in the front and back. It was perfect for our dog. Owners were responsive and very helpful. Just a side note if you come with your pup, the only access to the backyard from the house is through the smaller bedroom. We didn’t find the planes flying overheard to be an issue. The windows are triple paned!

Fantastic accommodations just a few blocks from the beach! The owners were wonderful to work with!

We loved this house and cannot wait to book it again on our next trip! The owners were wonderful to work with; very communicative and helpful! The home was well stocked, very clean, and really comfortable. Our dogs absolutely loved the yards, and of course we spent hours at Dog Beach each day. Thank you Mike and Tania - we can't wait to come back!!

Perfect except, it is directly in the route for planes taking off from the San Diego Airport. This could be rather loud at times.

Great Beach House

Overall this was a great stay at Dog Beach area, the house was well equipped with everything needed! The kitchen a little small but had everything needed to make dinner. The backyard is really nice and clean. We had dinner every night in the backyard.

Amazing!!!

This house was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for as first timers in San Diego. Everything was well thought out and organized and there were even snacks, the boogie boards, a grill and all the essentials for us to live comfortably. The couple days we stayed. Great location close to the beach and easy to get to anywhere within San Diego. 100 percent recommend

Awesome place in Ocean Beach!

The house was awesome. Super clean and had everything we needed and then some. Mike and Tania were awesome hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and even giving us some local tips to make our stay even better! The location was great, walkable to most everything if you want to walk, otherwise a short drive. Definitely would book again!

Very nice!

The house is in a great neighborhood. Walking distance to several locations, beaches, food, shops or just take a nice walk through the neighborhood. Private driveway for parking, fenced yards (front and back) provide a place to unwind and enjoy a beverage. The hosts provide coffee, towels, shampoo, soap and laundry facilities. We loved the location, house and how responsive the hosts were when I had questions. The check in process was flawless. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!!!!

Comfy home, great backyard, off-street parking

This property is a modest, 2-BR house with two couches that collapse as beds. The kitchen is well-stocked. There is a washer and dryer and gas grill. The owner has installed double window panes that cut down the street noise. There is still some overhead flight noise but not during sleeping hours. A shout-out to the Reunion neighborhood bar within walking distance. It was a great place to watch the Niners game!

Nice Getaway

The house is very cute, clean and the property managers are wonderful. They are kind and available as needed. The only reason i did not give 5 stars accross the board was proximity to airport. I didn't think to look at map but house is literally under takeoff so you hear loud plan noises throughout the day and night. If you are used to this and that doesn't bother you this house is perfect. Great location. 7 minute drive from everything. Beach is not walking distance.

cute cottage but overhead commercial flights ruined our stay

I always go on Google Earth to see a location, but nothing prepared us for overhead flights going early morning (5 a.m.) and late night (10 p.m.). We managed two nights, then couldn't take it anymore and left without completing our 3-night stay. I called the owners to tell them that we were leaving. Going back over the advertisement I still do not see a notice for being in "a flight path of the airport". Very disappointing.

Cute little 2-bedroom Pet-friendly beach bungalow

We enjoyed our stay at this well stocked little 2-bedroom beach house. We like the fact the backyard was gated so that our two pups could go out to go potty in safety. The only suggestions we would make is for the owner to install a 12 inch vertical handrail on the right wall in front of the toilet to assist guests with sit-to-stand who have bilateral lower extremity total knee replacements as we have. The Toto toilet in the bathroom is quite low which necessitates a guest pulling themselves up from the toilet using the back of the bathroom door, door knob, to safely rise up from the very low toilet. The ADA compliant safety grab bar only costs $ 20.99 on Amazon but would greatly enhance use of the low Toto toilet. If the grab bar isn't installed soon, we recommend the owner consider purchasing a Raised toilet seat that fits the Toto toilet in lieu of the safety grab bar. Either way, that is the biggest need for elderly couples staying at this VRBO. Aside from this, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The property is much better than advertised!

The owners respond very fast and do not have any hidden fees or changes from what you first see when obtaining the quote for the place. In fact, the property is much better than advertised. The place is set up perfectly for a rental. It has more than you would expect! It had a doggie door, which our pups learned how to use immediately, all sorts of beach equipment and towels, extra pillows!! and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities PLUS had some condiments and other needed kitchen /food extras (not expired!!). It was close to all freeways to get around and to the dog beach. Such a dog friendly community as well. Other places I have rented do not offer towels for the beach, toiletry supplies refills, extra towels for the bathroom, etc. These owners really pride themselves on letting you use a real home so you can focus on your vacation, not stocking someone else's house. Not directed toward this rental (but cannot comment on places i did not book): I have had a few bad experiences on VRBO with other owners. I have received the quote for booking (as you book the property) only to find out the rental agreement which must be signed has additional cleaning, insurance and other pet fees, which were not disclosed on the VRBO site. These owners then expect people to just pay these fees without thinking about it since they already selected their property. When you decline to pursue the rental agreement, it takes nearly a month to get the deposit and initial fees paid back. THESE OWNERS ARE AMAZING and DO NOT PLAY THESE GAMES. I cannot express how important that is. Please do your homework and read all agreements and, of course, book with Mike and Tania if in this area!
