Very poor check in experience after a 24 hours flight with 2 kids and room was unavailable. Had to complain to get the room!☹️ Staff were in general unfriendly except one or two. Breakfast buffet was very poor and below average and over priced. Pool was nice. Rooms clean but showing signs of ageing.

We requested a room with two queen beds but only kings were available due to a plumbing issue so we had to use a rollaway. We were compensated with free parking and a $50 credit per room. Otherwise our stay was very good. The hotel is conveniently located between the beaches oj La Jolla and the restaurants near La Jolla cove.

I had a terrible 7 nights stay at Hyatt Regency La Jolla. In these 7 nights my room was cleaned one time only! I called the front desk and asked for my room to be cleaned the lady who answered the phone was not very polite, and she sent no one, I talked to the cleaning staff at my floor and asked them to clean my room but no one did, it was the fist time I experience such thing! Another issue the bathroom sliding good inside the room can open until someone from outside of the bathroom could help you do that, my daughter was locked in while I went down to get a coffee and she was terrified! The bed sheets had stains in them, even the clean ones! The bed and pillows are so uncomfortable, I had neck and back pain when I woke up. I have never had any of these issues in any other hotel I stayed in. I will never go back there nor recommend it to anyone.
