The hotel was very clean and the personnel very friendly and accommodating. This hotel used to be the "Gouverneur," and is the nicest in the city and at a very affordable cost. We stayed during a visit to my sisters who reside in town, and know the area well as I come from Montreal and summered about 24 kms. south of here. The city has everything you could want including nice malls and great restaurants. A Keurig coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Our only complaint would be that one...

A relatively new hotel the facilities and hotel room were very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, close to the highway and restaurants at the doorstep.

Was a great option for us for one night. But if you are planning on staying there and visit Montreal, keep in mind there is always lots of traffic on Samuel De Champlain bridge.

Le service à l'accueil a été juste parfait, Zoé avec son sourire a su repondre à toutes nos questions et comme nous etions arrivés beaucoup d'avance à cause de la tempête de neige, elle s'est assuré que nous soyons confortable et nous avons pu avoir notre chambre un peu à l'avance. Le service à la restauration a aussi été très bien, tout comme la nourriture et le prix. Nous y reviendrons assurément !!!

My room was so adorable! Having breakfast delivered to my door was such a nice touch. The location is a 5-6 min walk to a Metro Station. So many variety of cafe & restaurants …good close walking distance to Notre Dame Basilica. The French style restaurant downstairs was fabulous. Très belle hôtel située dans un endroit magnifique…mon seul commentaire négatif c’est que je n’ai pas pu stationner mon camion sous prétexte qu’il est trop gros et que j’ai dû moi-même aller le stationner 500 mètres plus loin dans un stationnement public de la ville de Montréal

Great location and hotel!

Location was excellent. Room is on the small size but has everything you need. No lounge area (sofa or comfy chair) in the room but the lounge in the lobby is comfortable and the staff are wonderful! The graphics throughout the hotel are similar to that at a museum, perfectly curated. Shower was great, hot water and good pressure. Overall exceeding our expectations!

I am very happy with my stay in Le Square Phillips hotel. The location was very good with shops and restaurants close to the hotel and steps away from the famous St.Catherine Street. The rooms were very spacious with 2 double beds and a full kitchen which is a plus for my family. The bathroom is spacious too . The only thing is that the toilet is very slow in flushing down and it might need changing to a newer toilet.We used the fitness center which had adequate equipments for exercises although...

Just beside Old Montreal was amazing and close to a lot. The heated pool was great (and well heated!). Went to the hotel’s restaurant for NYE and the food was fantastic! Totally recommend both the hotel and restaurant.
