Really lovely boutique hotel in a beautiful location. Very friendly and amiable staff (even toward people who don't speak French), and we had a lovely stay. The hotel room was beautiful. We had notifed them that it was an anniversary trip and we got a room with an AMAZING view of the St. Lawrence for no extra charge, and the room came with bathrobes, a safe, and delicious chocolates on our pillow, a note, and some macarons! The room was very modern in decor and the bathroom shower was amazing. The hotel was quiet, upscale, and in a great location for walking around. The only downside I can think of relates to food options; the breakfast spread was just a little lacking in variety. The food was delicious, but it was the same food every day (breads/croissants, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, jams/rabbit pate, juice/milk, and boiled eggs, with a sort of surprise item every day, like quiche, etc.). It was very heavy on carbs and cheese, which, as an American, I was craving some veggies or other options by the third day. The second food-related downside is that because it's a smaller hotel, there's no in-house restaurant. There are several restaurant options nearby, but it would have been nice to eat in one of the nights of our stay given that it was cold outside (we visited in winter). Other than that, this was a wonderful stay with great staff. I would highly recommend this hotel! We had a great experience; they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
