I am a big fan of Krystal Monterrey and staying at this location I had high expectations. BUT I was so wrong! The rooms are so old and rusty and the service was horrible. The staff hates working here and you can tell by the way they treat guest. In my room I found a roach!!! and to to top it off the tub look so rusty that it felt like we were going to get some kind of disease. The food taste to bland and definitely not worth the inclusive. The Bars are not open late and defeats the purpose. I would never recommend this property to anyone! Oh lets not forget how dirty it is.
Honestly this hotel was horrible
Food is garbage!!
Rooms smells like mushrooms are growing out of the walls!
And service forget about it they are way to busy on their phones all the time..
This place it’s a joke looks good on the pictures but it’s a nightmare!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
resort was nice, We had no hotwater and made issues daily with all. Last two times were Miguel and Jesus in management and still got no responce or help in the matter after a 9 day stay
Do not stay here. We have been to mexico approx 10 times and this is by far the worst resort we have ever stayed at. Not even close to a 4 star resort. Any good reviews you read here are definitely about the newly acquired resort next door - Krystal Altitude. Krystal PV residents do not have access. This resort is so old and dirty. They tried to check us into a standard room when we paid for a deluxe sea view room. Took us about an hour of switching around to 4 different rooms to finally get to the one we paid for. The food is HORRIBLE. We were starving for the first 4 days until we finally left the resort to eat. We are not hard to please when it comes to beach vacations but I don't have one good thing to say about this resort other than the view from our ocean view room. Dirty, unhelpful and not friendly staff. 10-30 minute lines for drinks. The resort provided pictures are deceiving. We stayed at the Krystal in Nuevo Vallarta last year and it was a million times nicer than this one. The location of this resort is good - quick bus ride to the Malecon or Marina. You'll hardly want to spend anytime at this resort. Pool has a bunch of floaties, pool tables and chairs are not cleaned. Only 1 A La Carte that they make it difficult to get a reservation at. Just don't stay here.
I stayed at Krystal about 6 years ago and returned back this year. I stayed in the newer tower which was spacious and very clean. Aaron and Fernando that worked by the beach were excellent, friendly, and a great asset for the hotel. The property is larger and I did visit during a semi peak time. Love that there is shad both by the beach and the swimming pools. The grounds are kept in exquisite shape. The food is nothing special but you can always find someone to eat. Overall a good stay made better by the friendly staff
This hotel has a beautiful property, but the rooms were really dirty. The first room that they gave us had bed bugs and I requested for another room expecting something better but after seeing it i was disappointed. The food there was horrible. I wouldn’t go back!!
We have been coming here for years. It has changed. The pools were remodeled and made smaller. The food was terrible. The room was not clean. We will never return. Glad to hear Hilton has bought the property. It has reslly gone diwnhill.
