Hotel has a Policy dining policy posted across campus.I will suggest the company to retrain employees to properly follow policies and procedures . We experience a bittersweet moment at the Italian Restaurant due to dress code policy, some in sandals , swimming gear others ,t-shirts no sleeves etc.
But thanks to Samuel the person exchanged that night the situation was professionally addressed an other great employees, like Fatima ,Daniel the busser and Chema big shootout to them for providing great costumer service
Pictures can be deceiving. I and many guests on the property agreed this was a very misleading advertisement for this hotel. The street view of the property and the inside of the rooms gives very Motel 6 vibes. the view from our room of the outside facing the pool and ocean was nice, however rooms are very very dated. The staff is friendly and nice. I feel like the location was a great middle ground between airport, and downtown tourist attractions, and still close to the Marins where most excursions depart from. Easy 100 pesos or less taxi or uber ride from major attractions. There's a Soriana like a grocery type store very very close by. The food for snack and lunch when we arrived was horrible. Plain horrible. Didn't stick around not one day of the week to find out if dinner was as bad. On our last day we opted to try the breakfast and it was surprisingly decent and not bad at all. I did hear from other guests that the reservation restaurants onsite were much better than the buffet. Reservations have to be made between 8am-2pm, while we were up most times before then and out all Dayton excursions, I never got the chance to make one. Would I come here again? No. Was it horrible enough to leave? Maybe if you're used to infinity pool style luxury resorts, yes. But we literally used it as a place to lay our heads at night and spent most of the day away from here. Wifi worked well though.
Was a smaller property that wasn't located right on the beach and had a lot of locals staying, so most of the entertainment was catered to the Spanish community. Everyone was really friendly though
Nice resort. Had everything you need. Did not have the big resort feeling. Staff very friendly but not many spoke english. Lots of children which of course we did not need but they were sweet.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Loved the staff and food. Loved the palm trees. So close to Malecon. Loved long walks on beauriful beach.
The room was very dated
Mold in bathroom and shower
No hot water
Air conditioning keep tripping the room power breaker
Staff only speak Spanish, if you speak English only 1 or 2 on the staff on whole resort understand you.
Kids we not allowed in kids club due to them not being able to speak Spanish
The Wi-Fi was horrible the furniture was old. Some of the room you had to walk up flights of stair because there are no elevators. There were flies and bees in the dining area so the desserts and danishes had flies on it. The hot water was lukewarm and the water pressure was poor. The staff was nice. The beach has more rocks than sand. I was very disappointed. I would only give this place 2 1/2 stars
