"Hotel was very clean. Staff was pleasant and responsive when we needed assistance with the in-room television. Breakfast in the morning was satisfactory. Coffee was very good! We were there on Friday night. I wish the breakfast buffet on the weekend was from 7-10am, instead of 6-9am. We requested an assistive room for a disabled guest but this was not accommodated for us, which was disappointing. I really should have deducted a star for this. Also, we needed an additional blanket during the night, and an additional facecloth. (Only one was provided for two guests.) I know I should have called to request these items but didn’t. My bad."

"I highly recommend this hotel. Its a beautiful old building that looks like it has been renovated within the past 5 to 8 yrs. It does have some wear due to its age, but the renovations kept the old hotel's charm and grandiose feel. Conveniently located and there is a lovely restaurant and a pub downstairs. Our room was spacious and clean, included a fridge, iron and board, coffee maker and safe. The older building is very quiet."
