Wonderful modern part of town. Two metro stations and a shopping centre (open until midnight) nearby. Short walk to a good view of the Tajo and Pte Vasco da Gama/A12 bridge. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
The breakfast buffet was included in the room rate and it was excellent: a full buffet of hot and cold food, good coffee, fresh fruits.
the staff in the bar were very helpful and good humoured, helping us to select great value Portuguese wines (although they did run out of several).
This hotel is a long way from the old city centre, but the nearby metro makes for easy cheap access.
Restaurant in this hotel makes no attempt at local dishes and was disappointing.
Excellent for quiet walks and access to ExPo facilities. If you stay here I would suggest taking a tour bus which stops outside the hotel to get into central Lisbon area. Rooms are a little bit small but this is compensated for by other things such as gym, spa and professional staff. More a business hotel than a holiday hotel.
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport. We got to Lisbon late one afternoon after holidaying in Porto and left by 3:00 am the following day. However we were there long enough to experience friendly staff at the front desk and the bar.
