"What a delightful stay we had in our beautifully appointed clean as a whistle VRBO on the Hamakua coast of the big island. It had absolutely everything one would need and then some (thoughtful sleep masks). Large refrigerator, washer and dryer, extremely well equipped. The fresh fruit and fresh eggs in the fridge was just a great touch. All this and the adorable unobtrusive little pets and chickens made this a perfect stay Big Mahalo to Dan and Mollie, great hosts"

"The owners are very friendly, we let them know when we were coming and they greeted us when we arrived to walk through the property. In the morning we were greeted with spectacular views of Hilo and fresh bananas from the garden. This property is great for eco-conscious visitors, as the owners make great efforts to reduce their impact on the environment and teach visitors about their efforts as well. "This home was beautifully amazing and accommodated the entire ‘ohana. It was super clean, private, fenced in and came equipped with all the extras (leftovers from other guests; condiments, spices for cooking, coffee, cooler bags, etc). Falling asleep to the river was so peaceful and it was off the main road, so little traffic. Will definitely be staying here again. Mahalo nui!"

"Overall it was acceptably clean, I too live in Hawaii with open windows and know what to expect. Given the price, this was more than I expected and I enjoyed my stay immensely. The decor was well done and very esthetically pleasing. Fixing the window screens and cleaning the livingroom a/c unit would seem to be an easy fixes to improve the property."
