"The ocean views and private beach experience here was unparalleled, like next level. We did have some issues with "yurt living" that simply did not align with the cost for us, as the toilet burped up at us and backed up into our suite on our first morning. While it was responded to promptly as a clog, we ended up having to remove the sewage using a towel as the owners had a miscommunication. We were made to feel like we should be more understanding of their personal situation and were...

Explore the seaside charm of Sidney's waterfront boardwalk, where local shops and seafood restaurants welcome visitors in casual attire. Nearby Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay offers spectacular floral displays, while the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea reveals fascinating marine life.
The staff were so kind and gave us lots of great suggestions for things to do and see in the area. They also let us check in early which was a great bonus!
The view from our room and beautiful. 10/10. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is just off the main road in Sidney and an easy walk to shops and food. Parking around back is limited, just enough spots for the guests. Inside is very nice, you are treated to snacks and drinks right away, and check in was easy and quick.
The room we stayed in was great, nice size bed, TV (barely used by us) airconditioner we didnt use, just opened the windows. Bath tub is bigger than most of the places I've stayed and was probably my wifes favorite thing about our stay.

I was on a solo retreat and had the pool area to myself. I loved the special touches of a welcome drink and a bag of goodies for the Halloween season. The views were fabulous and it was a wonderful stay. I only wish I had booked for a longer stay.

The staff were exceptional. I rested and came away refreshed. Dominic even asked my short self which side of the bed should he put the stool by, he gave a little giggle. Thank you for a blessed time.

While the weather was cooler than expected we enjoyed the room, the view on the balcony and the food plus cocktails! Highly recommend for a weekend away or a two day escape at any time!

Lovely old world BnB in a superb location next to the beach, parks and Cook St. Village. Beds are comfortable and the breakfasts best expectations every time. It’s a fave spot for us. Thank you to the managers and staff for the excellent experience…again!

We received a gift certificate from relatives to stay at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel for one night and we extended it to three to take advantage of favorable fall rates. Our first impressions were fantastic, from the greeting by the outdoor Concierge with helpful hints where to temporarily park to a cheerful welcome by efficient check-in staff.
Our room was spacious and topnotch and we appreciated the very quiet airconditioning and blackout drapes. A small oversight by the housekeeping staff was...
