"Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures,along the driveway and you are there. "We had a great stay at Bartley Lodge after visiting Peppa Pig world inside Paultons Park Family of four: two adults and two kids age 3 and 7 - both autistic so they are loud and a bit restless waiting, but we felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The lady managing the dining room brought them colours and books for the table to play with as the conservatory had less WiFi signal for watching cartoons. Great breakfast options really filling and fresh including the usual familiar cereal...

"Staff were super and the bed and pillows were amazing. Our room had air con, which was turned off when we arrived. It was extremely hot. Full sun had been on the room all day and it was like an oven. We turned the air con on and didn't make much difference. We did not sleep at all well We checked out early at 7.30 am as we we had to look after our grandchildren . We were not able to have breakfast which we had paid for as they didn't start service until 8.30 am All doors were locked...

Negatives: my room was facing the main road which was busy throughout the nice and disturbing despite ear plugs - needs triple glazing installed, room was hot but couldn’t open windows as would have made the road...
