![The Statue of Liberty is one of the most famous and recognized statues in the world. Dedicated in 1886, it was given to the United States from the people of France. The statue is an icon of freedom and a welcome to immigrants arriving from abroad.

Closed after September 11 for security reasons, the statue is now open to the public. Tickets for Liberty Island and to enter the statue can only be purchased from statuecruises.com. Access to the crown is limited, with tickets needing to be purchased several months ahead of time.

« The rooms on the street side were incredibly noisy 24 hours a day, and I really do not understand why they can be booked. I just could get a few hears of sleep, but I was always woken up by the trafic noise. I was lucky to be able to move backyards the following night. The breakfast is really not good, and the day staff did not make me welcome (maybe they were tired and it was a bad week for them?). It was not a pleasant experience. »

« La chambre était impeccable. Le seul problème constaté c'est sur le paiement de ma chambre. Le jour de mon départ, j'ai vérifié le montant prélevé sur ma carte de crédit. Un jour après quand j'arrive chez moi le montant a augmenté de 20$ alors que je n'ai rien utilisé dans ma chambre de plus. Je nia pas touché les thés placés dans la chambre. Je me pose la question pour de savoir pourquoi il y a 20$ Canadien de plus sur la facture? Le prix à la base était de 406$ canadien et c'est maintenant...

« Les draps ne sont pas changés, tout est sale des sols, murs, meubles, plafonds, c’est vieux et puant. La salle de bain est sale et pleine de poils et cheveux. Il y a des familles entières qui vivent dans cet hôtel et nous avons croisé des squateurs et junckies. L’ascenseur est en panne depuis toujours apparement et vous devez monter vos valises seuls. Nous: au 5 eme « pcq pas de chambre libre plus bas ! On se demande comment l’hôtel peut être complet. C’est une honte et hotel .com devrait être...
