"Met the owner as we were checking in. You can tell how much love has gone into preserving this building as he took us on a mini tour. The staff is very friendly. The building was beautifully restored and some original pieces were repurposed within the facility. A must stay as well as a do again. "

"Beautiful property but rooms do not include a desk or work area. When we asked the front desk to find us something, we doubt he tried. We ended up finding folding tables in the game room in the downstairs and brought tone up. The parking is tough. Too few spaces for the size of the hotel and since we had a Ford F150 we didn’t fit at all and had to back out. Food was good and the location can’t be beat. Very charming. "

"The room was a little small but it worked for the a weekend stay. Nice and close to the lake where my son went fishing (got 2 bass). Places to eat and drink with in walking distance."
