This bright and private second floor carriage house on treed acreage is close to all Oceanside has to offer. One bedroom with a king sized bed, self contained with private entrance, sky lights keep the living space bright year round. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio, or on the deck in your private, fenced in yard.
Gibbs Guest house is perfect for a quick weekend get away, or a couple weeks to work or visit friends or family in the area.

Quiet and peaceful
The host/hostess made sure to keep us informed and to greet us when we arrived. This carriage house is very clean and well equipped. Found it very peaceful and relaxing. There is really nothing to criticize about our stay. I certainly would recommend anyone to stay here.

Quiet & Comfortable
We stayed here for three nights. It was quiet and comfortable. Just the two of us and it was more than enough space. Separate entrance to this above garage apartment which included a nice kitchen, great tv options for the evenings in, a washer and dryer if needed, and our own little enclosed yard and patio. Great central spot from which to explore natural wonders and close to local eateries and other amenities.

Perfect stay near the coast
Ideal guest suite for family of four, clean, quiet, more spacious than it looks, in a country road amidst big trees but still just minutes from several towns. Wonderful host Julia could not be any more helpful and friendly. I hope we can stay again some day.

Amazing little get away!
I stayed here with my mother and 2 children. Julie was super accommodating and the house provided everything we needed. Julie came right up to us and greeted us and asked if there was anything we needed. She even provided us with chairs, floaties and umbrellas for the beach. She also gave us ideas of what to do in and around the area. I would definitely go back next time I’m in the area. Thanks Julie for making our summer vacation wonderful!

Great!
Great communication and very welcoming! Our children were invited to use the trampoline and there were toys available in the home. Lots of room and all the bedding needed which saved us room in the car. Location is right next to Coombs and about 10 minutes to beach in Parksville. We had a great stay.

Perfect "base camp" for my mid-island getaway
I was in town for part of a 2 week photography trip. This cute 1br apartment was absolutely perfect! Julia couldn't have been a more gracious host. Everything I could have ever wanted was provided for me. After a few days, a friend joined me and she was quite comfortable on the couch. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the property was immaculate, comfortable, and efficient. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay!

Excellent!
We were very happy staying here. Great location away from the usual noise but still close enough to golfing, restaurants, shopping etc. Comfortable bed and pillows and very peaceful for sleeping. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cutlery etc. and the internet is very good. The owner checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was good. Overall an enjoyable experience. We would recommend staying here and we will return if we are in the area again.
