"The hotel was comfortable overall, but be prepared for a bit of a workout—there’s no elevator, so hauling luggage up to the third floor wasn’t easy. It’s located on a corner, which made arranging tours and finding a pickup spot a little tricky at times. On the plus side, Plaza Las Americas is about a 10-minute walk straight down the road, which was really convenient. Check-in is strict at 3 PM with no flexibility, so plan accordingly. We also had some trouble with our key card opening the main door, but the staff provided a code that worked just fine. Overall, it’s a good, budget-friendly option if you plan on being out exploring most of the time. The air conditioning was definitely a bonus after being out in the heat all day."

"The waitress at the restaurant is wonderful: calm, professional and polite. The food was ok. Pool is a kid's pool. Staff is friednly and available. Echo and Econo facility. Guest should check room location. Barking dogs. A very noisy Outdoors elevator. Street noise?. In my room the AC remote was permanently secured to the wall (near the AC unit and away from the bed, as well as other areas in the room) with no screen light to adjust the setting. Alas, I had a relaxing stay and the staff is making a special effort to have guests feel welcomed."

"Located very close to the downtown bus station. We didn't have a car but I did notice a parking lot out the back. The only take away is that there was a night club across a side street and it was noisy at night.. and no pool."

"I don't know how this hotel gets 9+ reviews and is rated as a 4-star hotel, then labeled as "luxury" by Expedia. It is sub-3 stars at best in my opinion. Yes, everything in their photos is physically there, then photoshopped to look much nicer. The rooms are aged, the bathroom is old and small, you can't get into the shower without closing the bathroom door kind of tiny. We don't find anything not clean, but because everything is kind of old, you don't feel clean or relaxed either. The staff is friendly and nice, the location is good, walking distance to the ADO bus station, and other tourist spots. If you are looking for a place to stay for utility, this place will do. If you are looking for an experience, this is not it."

"It was a pleasant 3-night stay for our group. The place has a very good vibe. Close to ADO bus terminal, making it very convenient for day tripping. Not walkable to beaches, but they are all reachable with a short Uber ride. Overall we liked it here better than in the hotel zone - make our experience more authentic."
