We were one hour outside of Syracuse when I texted the host to ask about keys and a lockbox. I got a text back that stated we were supposed to have been there five days previous. "Positive-the small apartment was clean. The apartment is in a decrepit house that should never be featured as a rental. Stairs up to the apartment are not to code. Garbage cans- overflowing. Not one of the nice Syracuse neighborhoods. I would have left affer a night but was too busy to find a hotel and change. Had to contact host re check in and he responded promptly. It’s fine to give details at 230 but let guest know in advance."
