    A quiet hotel situated about 15 minutes walk from the centre of the walled city of Lucca, providing all you would expect from that category of hotel. Staff are very friendly and particularly helpful. We walked from the train station (20 minutes). The local public authority do not believe in laying out proper pavements,most of the pedestrian areas are simply loose stones which are a nightmare to traverse pulling suitcases ( this is NOT the fault of the hotel), so best advise to prospective guests is to take a taxi (5minutes).…
