This is a lovely historic hotel inside the walls. It is well situated and just a short walk to all of the sites, as well as being on a picturesque street (as all streets are inside the walls). The staff is very attentive and goes out of their way to be sure you have a great stay. I had a junior suite (the Tosca room -- bigger than I happened to need but that's what was available). My room was very quite and comfortable. Having a balcony with seating was a real treat! I highly recommend Palazzo Alexander Hotel.

Our room was very comfortable, the hotel staff were helpful and breakfast was excellent. Being inside the city with car parking was great. Lucca is well worth visiting.
