Clean and comfortable friendly staff

Property is well located, clean comfortable rooms with one big caveat. That caveat is a big one DO NOT GET A ROOM ON THE CITY SIDE. The hotel is a stone’s throw from a rail road yard. Our one night ( thank goodness) was on the railroad road side and it disturbed our sleep throughout the night. Clanging bells, rumbling diesel locomotives were frequent through out the night. Add on the base rumblings from the music playing at the shark club attached to the hotel and needless to say we left the hotel bleary eyed. I mentioned our rough night to the front desk clerk at checkout and he was sympathetic. I’m sure they get the same feedback from many a guest. I spoke a person on the elevator that told me when they booked a reservation it was recommended they spend a little extra to get the quiet side of the hotel. If we do come to Kamloops again that’s what we will do.

We loved the space at the Grand Residence. We had space for our family of 5 to have separate beds. Our other family members were staying in The Grand and we could all meet every night at the hot tub.

Loved our stay here. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, they really made us feel so welcome. The room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. We loved being able to have a hot tub and look over the river. We picked this hotel due to its location. We loved the peacefulness and scenery. If we are ever in the area we will definitely be back.
