The lack of cleanliness and general upkeep made us feel uncomfortable, so we went and stayed at a nearby hotel instead.

Extremely disappointed. The hotel double-booked our room through Expedia and only told us when we arrived at 9:00 p.m. after a full day of driving. We received no communication beforehand and no compensation for the inconvenience. They just sent us back out on the road. We had to drive to Merritt since there were no other hotel rooms available anywhere else in Kamloops that evening. Even though I made the booking through Expedia, the complete lack of care and empathy at the hotel for a situation was very disappointing. They just told me to contact Expedia myself to try get a refund, but they don't offer any compensation from their side.

The pool was really well maintained and warm. The room itself was extremely clean. Breakfast was what you would expect. Overall a fantastic stay
