Looking for the perfect AFFORDABLE hide-away in Key West? Located in a remodeled Victorian Home - this guest room is just perfect for two and has a pool in the backyard!

This guest room is cozy (the size of a small hotel room, 10'X12.5' plus bathroom) with a QUEEN size bed but is so much better than a hotel room. We provide high quality cotton sheets and thick, luxurious towels. We offer a studio kitchen with apartment sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, two burner cook top, blender, and everything you'll need to cook and serve a romantic meal. It is nice to be able to make a sandwich or picnic to take to the beach! There is a wonderful table just out the back door if you would like to eat under the palm trees.

No need really - just two and a half blocks up is Duval Street where hundreds of bars & restaurants await your fun times. The beach is a five minute walk and there you can enjoy the gorgeous warm turquoise water ALL YEAR ROUND. Just relax on the pristine white sand under the tall swaying palms. When you get too hot - simply stroll back to your air conditioned hide-away or take a dip in the pool.

Two bikes are provided for your use at no extra charge. They are right on property with the number 6 (our studio number) on each bike. You will be able to ride to beaches, parks, botanical gardens and of course, bars, restaurants and sunsets!!

The bed faces an armoire and 32' flat screen TV. The gorgeous Victorian Home which is now divided into individually owned rooms - is an architectural masterpiece... but unlike many bed and breakfasts, walls are thick and your privacy is insured. The neighborhood is a wonderful mix of guest houses, full time local folks, and visitors. While you are walking the streets - stop and chat a spell with anybody who is rocking on their front porch. You might meet some real Key West characters! Our location is so close to Duval (a five minute walk) - it will be a great place to gather with friends to head "downtown".

OUTSIDE There is a wonderful back deck with lovely shaded eating area and pool, another picnic table under the huge Banyan tree, and lots of lounge chairs to lay in the sun. These are all within the fenced yard of the property. It really is amazing to find this quiet seclusion right off of the excitement of Duval Street!

We want to provide an affordable solution to the high prices of Key West Hotels - and we think this is it! If you are looking for a full service hotel this is not for you. My studio is best for folks that want to see Key West, not stay in their room during their vacation. While it is quite small, it is one of the best values in Key West. We don't pretend to be a full resort, we are a great option for those that are looking for value and a clean well-appointed room! WE GUARANTEE YOUR UNIT WILL BE SPARKLING CLEAN UPON YOUR ARRIVAL. So come on down to the Southernmost City and have some fun!

Cozy studio in a great location in Key West ideal for a couple
The location is ideal for everything we wanted to see and do in Key West. The apartment is well equipped and very cozy. Communication with the owner was great! We appreciated the large walk in shower and loved the pool. The neighborhood was quiet and street parking was easier than I expected. It is a small first floor studio apartment in a tropical area (as described) so don’t be surprised by the presence of sugar ant traps (a common problem in this area). The unit was clean and we tried to keep the countertop clean to avoid too many ants. A very minor downside was that there wasn’t an ice machine handy and the small fridge had a very small ice box that only fit a small ice cube tray. We got ice from the Circle K store.

The room was advertised as small, but it was still comfortable. The only issue was some sort of an alarm that went off very early in the morning (4am). It wasn't an alarm clock, but sounded like a fire alarm. The owner was very responsive and sent the manager to try to solve the issue. Parking was ok. The property and room were clean.

Perfect Short Stay for 2
Ken’s place was perfect for our one night stay in Key West! I wish I would have stayed longer. I was looking forward to using the bikes, snorkeling and beach equipment. Unfortunately, we were unable to due to our flight being delayed and arriving late at night because of the global outage worldwide. I hated to leave and want to come back and visit really soon. I will definitely keep this place in mind when I decide to visit again!

Everything was Perfect! The studio was exactly as described. Wouldn’t change a thing about it. We loved the location. Enjoyed having the bikes to use also. Ken was so accommodating and responded promptly to all messages. Ken also includes some “guides” of his favorite places and we tried quite a few of them.. and couldn’t agree more they ALL were Great! Such a Perfect place for a couple to stay at!!

This place was in the absolute best location. We were no farther than a 10 minute bike ride no matter where we went. The included bikes were awesome, we used them everyday of our stay. My husband and I came to Key West to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Ken's Studio was perfect. We knew it was small going in and so that didn't bother us. The location is outstanding as it is within walking distance of Duval Street and easy bike rides to the beach. The bikes were great for getting around KW, we rode them all over. The beach supplies (cooler, umbrella, chairs, snorkel equipment) were very much appreciated as well. Ken was an excellent host and was very good at communicating with us and answering our questions. He also had many great suggestions as to where to eat, drink and visit. We will DEFINITELY stay here again the next time we visit Key West.

Amazing Studio, Wonderful Trip
Ken's place is awesome. Between the included use of two bikes to putt around town, the perfect location (close enough to walk to Duval, but still away from the craziness), the spotless room and bath, ice cold A/C unit, comfy bed, and well apportioned mini kotched...I can't imagine a better deal in Key West. My fiance and I had a blast for our week there. Ken was amazing as well in his communication and helpfulness with the area. Hope we can stay whenever our next trip to KW comes!

Phenomenal Place
My husband and I just got back from Key West. We had a fabulous time and loved where we stayed. Ken, the owner, is terrific. Great communication, excellent tips on things to do and places to eat. Ken's place was exactly what we were looking for: Clean, quiet, and walkable to everything we wanted to do in Old Town Key West. Although the unit is compact, Ken has included many amenities that made our stay enjoyable: beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, etc. The full-size FREE washer and dryer in the building made it possible for us to pack with only carry-on luggage- a huge bonus! Unless you're planning to spend hours in your room instead of getting out and about and enjoying Key West, Ken's place is perfect!
