Located in the beautiful Silver Valley, this quaint 3 bedroom in Kellogg has perfect mountain views. You will also see the gondolas right from the porch heading up the mountain. This cute house is minutes from the Silver Mountain Ski Resort. A perfect place to cozy up after a day on the mountain!

We were in Kellogg for elk hunting and found this property comfortable and accessible.
Property was adequate although not really set up for 6 people (unless couples who could share beds). Quiet setting with everything we needed for our hunting trip.

The place need some work ,everything works now wifi TV and DVD player and bigger microwave the shower works good it still could use some more plates ect and a toasterall in all it was a good deal for the price and I had no trouble getting ahold of the owner on the vrbo app messages

Owner is Uncommunicative
I had planned a trip to come out for the weekend to the property with 12 days in advance rrservation with a couple of friends for a ski trip. The owner had an age requirement of 25 for rental of the property but waited till 3 hours before departure to communicate that this was going to be an issue. I had contacted them on 4 separate occasions to discuss any issues that may be of concern well before a week of our arrival but was unreachable and uncommunicative. Only positive was the Trail Motel in Kellogg was able to accommodate us last minute for a reservation of 5 and worked out great despite the circumstances.

Great place for ski access
Great place for ski access. The internet, TV did not work, hope they got that fixed. Skiers need weather reports and TV. The shower did not work on the first night, you have to pull handle extremely hard, hard to regulate temperature. Easy fix I would think. Beds were great, loved the electric fireplace. I’d stay again if the internet and TV worked.

We liked the location and the older house was fine. However, this property is not setup for guests. The driveway was dangerous because it was not cleared/treated for ice. The bedroom upstairs only had a small mattress placed on the floor and smelled moldy. The bathroom mostly did not work, especially the shower, where 3 men could not pull the on/off knob to start the water. We leveraged it on, but then also had difficulties turning off. The sink was partially clogged and drained very slowly. There was only 1/2 roll of TP for 3 people, for 3 days, so we had to purchase more TP. Same with paper towels and other basic kitchen supplies. The owner was NOT responsive and did not give timely instructions. They only communicated via a web page even though they had my direct cell#. We had to search the property for the door key until we found a hidden key. I do not recommend that anyone stay at this property until the owner makes major changes to the property and their own rental/communication policies.

Cool cabin in Kellogg
The cabin is old and very stylish beautiful hardwood floors and cool mosaic tile. We enjoyed our stay it was nice to have a separate bedroom for each of us. The bath tub was a little difficult to manage but we worked it out. Nice and close to the gondola leading up to Silver Mountain

Ski Getaway
The property is very clean and roomy. Location is great for a ski vacation to Silver. Cell phones don't work reliably in the house and the Wifi was down which was a bit problematic. Previous reviewer mentioned this as well so you may want to check with property owner if this has been addressed before booking. If you are planning to cook - esp. for any number of people greater than 2 you will need to bring your own dishes as the kitchen is pretty sparse. Keurig coffee maker only - no K cups provided. Unpictured bedroom only has 1 twin bed but room for sleeping bags or inflatable bed if needed. For what we paid it was fine but would want the place to be better stocked/furnished and working internet if we were paying more.
