"Check in was very fast My room was 1037 Big and clean Fast internet Breakfast: Simple but very good. Shrimp and pork dumplings were to die for. I ate 10 of them. All hotel staff was very nice. They called a taxi right away when I needed one. No laundry facilities but the front office was able to locate one for me This hotel is next to the river with great night views of the Oriental Pearl Tower. I had a facial at the Spa. The lady that helped me was very nice. "

"We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us. "Prado Hotel Shanghai 3-10 Feb 2019 Reception was ok and quick. As it was Chinese New Year, things seemed rather quiet. The room was somewhat funky as is the general hotel design. The room met expectations and was relatively quiet, though the rubbish truck that came at about 6.00 am was a bit noisy. "Room was spacious and classically furnished. Some of the furniture, drapery, and lobby finishes were a bit worn, but to be expected in an older, historic hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English which made check-in and out easier. I would stay at this hotel again. "

"The hotel staff are very friendly. I need to leave the hotel before 7:00 to catch my train. But breakfast will not open until 7:00. So the front desk packed the breakfast for us. I was impressed by their kindness. I used to stay another hotel nearby. I switched to this one this time. I am glad I made the right decision. Highly recommend this hotel. "
